Altus Legends Prove the Power of a Mo!

As another Movember draws to a close, the Altus and TMNZ community has once again demonstrated just how powerful collective action can be. What began as a few brave souls willing to sacrifice their upper-lip dignity quickly evolved into one of our most impactful Movember campaigns to date, fuelled by determination, generosity and a good dose of humour.

This year, 16 Legends stepped forward and officially registered for the cause. True to its word, Altus Group backed every one of them, contributing $10 per sign-up for an opening donation of $160. But the momentum didn’t stop there.

Twelve of those Legends went further, literally taking on and completing the 60km Move Challenge, turning steps into support and earning an additional $600 from Altus Group.

Of course, Movember wouldn’t be Movember without some questionable moustaches, and this year’s contenders did not disappoint. Chris Thornton (Altus Group) and Navin Palanisamy (TMNZ) delivered the funniest Mo photos of the month, prompting Altus to chip in another $200 on their behalf. Comedy with a cause!

Behind the laughs and the kilometres logged, the heart of Movember lies in fundraising, and our team showed extraordinary commitment. Together, our people raised a remarkable $5,535.00 through personal campaigns. Leading the charge were our top fundraisers:

  • Jon Clayton, whose impressive $2,315.00 is only the latest chapter in a long-standing commitment that now totals $22,838.00 raised over the years.

  • David “Crofty” Croft, who rallied an outstanding $1,010.00.

To recognise their dedication to the cause, Altus Group added another $100 to each of their totals.

When all was said and done, our Mo Legends from Australia and NZ delivered a grand total of $6,695.00 to the Movember cause. That number represents more than dollars—it represents conversations started, awareness raised, and lives that will be impacted through programs supporting mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Thank you, Altus and TMNZ Mo Legends, for showing up and making an impact once again!
