Combining a strategic management skill-set with inspired people leadership, a hands-on approach to operational excellence and a genuine will to succeed, Jeff has consistently built high performance teams and accomplished double digit sales and EBIT growth for shareholders among highly competitive B2B Services based industries.

• Peter Backwell
  CFO

  Peter is Group CFO and Company Secretary for all Altus related entities, leading all group commercial functions. Having been with the business for 10 years, and with senior management, associate director and director level experience among Deloitte, PWC & KPMG, Peter provides governance support to the Board, CEO and Executive, providing effective insights on performance and risk mitigation, as well as delivering on all business financial and regulatory compliance obligations.

• James Pennings
  EGM - Sales, Strategy & Marketing

  James has more than 18 years senior management experience across a variety of market sectors in Australia and the United States. An accomplished business development and origination specialist, he has provided leadership and management to organisations spanning sales, strategy & marketing, corporate development, procurement & contracting, operations and public policy development. James is the commercial lead for the business, responsible for growth, diversification, branding and market development.

• Ben Marsonet
  EGM - Operations

  Ben is a well regarded Traffic Management Industry specialist and leads the Altus Operations functions including customer fulfillment, fleet, supply chain and systems. Bringing a strong focus to safety, quality of execution and customer fulfillment, Ben actively supports the continual growth in capability of Altus, ensuring that our customers can get on with delivering, and that everyone gets home safely. In addition to his role at Altus, Ben is also a Board member of the Traffic Management Association of Australia.

• Darren Condon
  GM - QLD/NSW

  Darren has an extensive background in operational management and leadership, managing high performance teams as a General Manager and CEO. He has direct P&L responsibility for Altus in the States of NSW and QLD with a staff of more than 700 people. Adept at strategic planning and execution, people leadership, customer engagement and marketing, Darren brings the generalist skill-set necessary for the management of a key portfolio of the Altus business, helping to drive continued operational efficiency and financial performance.

• Russell McAdam
  GM - VIC/TAS

  Russell is a highly experienced traffic industry manager, having undertaken multiple roles for Altus through nearly a decade of service. A strong client facing leader with extensive knowledge of execution, Russell has been managing the high growth regions of VIC and TAS for the previous 2 years, building the teams necessary for consistent, quality fulfillment in a scaling and demanding environment.

• Wendy Douglas
  GM SA/WA

  Wendy is a highly regarded traffic industry manager with a strong track record in customer delivery and operational management. Looking after the States of WA and SA, Wendy is driving the development of a balanced portfolio among projects and maintenance style works across the regions, through exceptional service delivery and the building out of a high quality team. Wendy holds great relationships among government and the private sector and represents our industry at multiple forums.

• Chris Thornton
  GM HSEQ

  Chris manages the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality functions of the business, having previously led Altus’ QLD business with full P&L responsibility. He is tasked with driving continual improvement across a wide portfolio of works nationally and develops and executes the organisation’s Safety Strategy. Chris is focussed on improving both employee and customer safety, ensuring robust and accountable systems and processes underpin these objectives.

• Beth Lilford
  GM - Events

  Beth is a highly regarded specialist in Event Traffic planning and management. Responsible for the Events portfolio of the business, Beth secures, plans and executes mission critical operations in conjunction with the broader Altus capability throughout Australia. Entrusted with some of the most high profile, iconic and well patronised events, Beth is regularly sought out to ensure that Event customers can focus on their core task of delivering an exceptional experience, with the knowledge that their staff, patrons and the general public will get home safely.

• Fiona Mclean
  GM - Training

  Fiona created and has led the development of the Altus Registered Training Organisation. Altus Training serves both internal and external customers, including corporate groups, with a continually expanding range of training packages. Operating nationally, Fiona and her team continue to innovate the training experience, taking advantage of the broader Altus Traffic capability to engineer real world learning environments for students. Fiona has an extensive track record in learning and development management roles for people based businesses.

• Negin Vaez
  GM - Traffic Engineering

  Negin is a qualified traffic engineer managing a team who provide a wide range of services relevant to construction management, land use planning and industrial site traffic management and safety. With the backing of the broader Altus Traffic organisation, Negin has been able to develop new value propositions for customers through linking traffic engineering to the timely and efficient execution of traffic services, unique in the industry. Negin has over a decade of technical engineering experience and is highly regarded across the traffic engineering industry.
