Take the Pledge To Drive So Others Survive
At Altus Traffic, safety isn’t just something we talk about – it’s something we live every day. That’s why we’re proud to support National Road Safety Week (NRSW) and invite you to join us in making a real difference.
One of the most impactful ways to get involved is by taking the official "Drive So Others Survive" pledge. This simple yet powerful commitment encourages every driver to take responsibility for the safety of all road users – not just themselves.
What’s in the Pledge?
By taking the pledge, you commit to:
Driving as if your loved ones are on the road ahead.
Removing distractions – especially mobile phones – while driving.
Never speeding, driving while tired, or under the influence.
Protecting vulnerable road users, including roadside workers, cyclists, pedestrians, and motorcyclists, by slowing down and giving them space.
Why It Matters
Every decision we make behind the wheel has the potential to save a life – or take one. By pledging to drive more safely, you're not only protecting yourself, you're helping to make roads safer for everyone. It's a small action that sends a big message: we all share the road, and we all have a role to play in keeping it safe.
A Message to Parents and Mentors
If you have young drivers or learner drivers in your life, this is the perfect opportunity to lead by example. Talk to them about the importance of road safety, share the pledge, and encourage them (and their friends) to make that same commitment.
Let’s pledge to drive as if lives depend on it – because they do.
Show Your Support
After you take the pledge, don’t forget to download your free digital badge – “I Proudly Made the Pledge to Drive So Others Survive” – and share it on your socials with the hashtag #NRSW2025. Your voice can inspire others to take the pledge and spread awareness.
