Why Social Distancing Matters

COVID-19 spreads much faster than any other virus we have experienced. An individual can easily infect on average 2.5 people over the course of 5 days. If each person goes onto infect another 2.5 people, this adds up to 406 people infected from that 1 original source within a month.

By mostly staying at home can and keeping 1.5 metres away from other people, an infected person can reduce their transmission drastically, resulting in only 2.5 people being infected in a month.

At work and outside your home, please keep your distance as we know it works.
