Walking Together for Mental Health

Altus Traffic is proud to sponsor the 15th Annual Walk For Awareness, taking place on Sunday, 12 October 2025 at Captain Burke Park, Kangaroo Point QLD. Organised by the Mental Awareness Foundation, this event brings thousands of participants together to take one step at a time for better mental health.

We’re proud to be providing traffic control services to help keep everyone safe during the walk—and even prouder to be stepping up with our own team taking part.

“Mental health is important to me, like many of us in society who have been touched by someone we know or love impacted by mental health. I lost a colleague and a friend some years ago, and that experience made it deeply personal. Supporting this walk is about taking care of ourselves and those around us—building connection and community,” said Chris Crouch, General Manager of Altus Traffic QLD.

The Walk For Awareness is a 9km journey that commemorates the 9 lives lost to suicide every day in Australia. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of connection, support and open conversations around mental health.

We invite you to register and join us in this meaningful event. Bring your family, bring your friends, and be part of a day filled with purpose, community and movement.
