Altus Group Shortlisted for Global Road Safety Achievement Award
We’re proud to announce that Altus Group has been shortlisted for the International Road Federation’s 2025 Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) in the Road Safety category.
This prestigious global competition recognises cutting-edge road projects and innovative thinking that help shape the future of road transport and infrastructure. Being named a finalist is a testament to the impact of our work in creating safer environments for road workers, motorists and the communities we serve.
Our nomination highlights our Workzone Digitisation—a system focused on transforming the way roadwork zones are managed and protected. By combining digital tools, real-time data, and intelligent traffic systems, this project aims to reduce risk and improve safety outcomes for both workers and road users. It’s a meaningful step forward in how we deliver traffic control services with a greater emphasis on safety and innovation.
The IRF’s Safety Award category celebrates tangible improvements in road safety, including the successful development and application of products, systems, or processes that help reduce road-related injuries and fatalities. Our nomination recognises the measurable progress we’ve made through digital integration and proactive traffic management.
Winners will be announced on 30 June 2025, during the International Symposium “Navigating the Future of Traffic Management” in Athens, Greece.
We’re honoured to be among a global field of forward-thinking organisations working to make roads safer for everyone. Congratulations to Beth Lilford, Head of Digital at Altus Group and our dedicated Workzone Digitisation team whose work has led to this recognition—and thank you to our industry partners and clients who continue to support innovative approaches to safety.
